MOMS Halloween Party

Today was the MOMS Halloween Party. We got to test run our costumes before next week. I think they look great. I only wish Joel would keep his eyes open.

2nd Annual A.N.T. Weekend

We have just returned from the 2nd Annual A.N.T. retreat at the Alexander Farm. A great time was had by all. The children were lucky enough to be there when one of the goats had a baby. They fished in Mr. Jim's pond, watched movies and roasted/burned marshmallo's. All of the adults will never take indoor plumbing for granted again. Here are a few of my favorite pictures from the weekend.

I haven't had much time to do any major quilting. However I did manage this Halloween wall hanging with a glow in the dark spider web. Click on the photo to see the spiderweb up close.

My Father-in-law

The Gaston Gazette ran a wonderful article on my father-in-law and his hand made airplanes.

Jason finished his first ever 40 mile trail run this weekend. He finished with a time of 9 hours 20 min. We are so proud of him. Here is a link to the race details.

We had a great time in Winston-Salem visiting friends and going to the Dixie Classic Fair. I only wish I had not forgotten my camera.
